Glass Fin Façade | Washington, D.C.

Overview

The award-winning headquarters for the Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) in Washington D.C. features an eye-catching structural glass fin application that features Sentech’s VetraFin-G Series System. The 11-story, 290,000 square foot structure features multiple facades that function to fill the space with natural light. The Sentech-supplied glass fin feature was designed using exterior fins along a radial glass wall in collaboration with Shalom Baranes Associates and Simpson Gumpertz & Heger. Completed in 2014, this Shalom Baranes Associates-designed headquarter building was certified LEED Gold.
